n Mallorca there is no better accommodation option for adventure-loving families than what is on offer at Katmandu Park & Resort. This complex in Magaluf is located right in the middle of a theme park with more than a dozen attractions that will delight both young and old. Along with being a centre for fun, this resort also lets you enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches located nearby.  At Estel Ingeniería y Obras we feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of its facilities, managing low-voltage electrical installation services.

Our multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians has been in charge of carrying out the customised electricity installations as required by the hotel. We are a leading company in this kind of management and addressed the project needs under the best conditions possible, taking into account energy and resource savings for the client.

The installation was commissioned because the resort wanted to be up to date in the area. They relied on our renowned professionals and their various success stories at other hotels and buildings, educational centres, airport terminals, cultural facilities, etc.

Estel’s work in this field includes a wide range of services such as  medium- and low-voltage installations, energy savings, electricity production, renewable energies, cogeneration and trigeneration plant developments… Each of them complemented by extensive telephone support and integral management services, guaranteeing better operation and a longer life span for the measures implemented.

A unique theme resort

The hotel company is based in Palma de Mallorca and has entrusted Estel with engineering, installation and maintenance projects on the Balearic Islands and elsewhere.

It is worth pointing out that the Meliá chain has invested in a major hotel conversion in Magaluf, a draft project that was initiated with the Government and Calvià town hall in 2011. It has led to a substantial reform of the establishments that can be seen in the client development at the ten hotels Meliá has converted in the area. The total investment amounts to more than 250 million euros.
