The meeting of the leaders of the tourism sector
Last Thursday the 28th, Preferente magazine celebrated its 30th anniversary and Estel wanted to attend and contribute to the Forum that they organized at the Meliá Castilla in Madrid, bringing together the entire elite of the tourism sector.
Three discussion tables were opened, the first theme was “The horizon of agencies and tour operation”, in which they participated: Jorge Schoenenberger (Viajes El Corte Inglés), Rafael García Garrido (Nautalia Viajes), Ginés Martínez (Jumbo Tours Group) and Alfredo Serrano (CLIA).
The second debate table was under the name of “Vigor and weaknesses of the tourism sector” in which they exchanged opinions: Carmen Riu (Riu), Javier Sánchez Prieto (Iberia), Joan Molas (Tourism Table), Paola Rainieri (Punta Cana Group) and Miquel Flecha (Accenture).
Finally, Ramón Aragonés (NH Hotel Group), Encarna Piñero (Grupo Piñero), Javier Águila (Apple Leisure Group) and Ramón Estalella (CEHAT) were discussed in a third panel discussion under the theme “The metamorphosis of the hotel industry”.
To close the event, Miquel Fluixà was the guest of honor, the founder of the Iberostar Hotel Chain was interviewed by Rafael Caballero, Founder of Preferente, where he shared unpublished confessions and surprised with an emotional, hopeful and very human speech.
Without further delay, from Estel we want to congratulate Preferente on its 30th anniversary, but also highlight the work carried out by tourism companies, and even more so after these complicated years that we have had to live through, which have marked a before and after in the way to think, to act and to manage. It has been an apprenticeship in knowing how to row together and create strong and faithful teams that fight for the same goal.
Congratulations to all for the dedication, effort and courage.
