On October 2 a team from Estel Ingeniería y Obras had the pleasure of participating as a sponsor during the conference APDay: Building a more Sustainable Humanity, organised in the Balearic capital by the Association for Management Progress. The meeting highlighted the most human part of our organisation, as well as our firm and unstoppable commitment to the environment. This is a goal we set back in the beginning, and we have reinforced it over time by creating sustainable business models and guidelines set by our CEO Toni Ballester guarantee our actions.
The event took place at the Palacio de Congresos in Palma and revolved around a series of presentations on the environment and various contributions talking about the importance of the human factor for the environment. The presentations mainly discussed the current context and the effects of our actions. APD is short for the Association for Management Progress. It is an independent, non-profit organisation that focuses on managers and the challenges they face. Its intention is to build a united and prepared community with true awareness of the trends that are transforming the world. The organisation has more than 3,500 partner companies, among them Estel Ingeniería y Obras, and more than 50,000 managers who participate in the various meetings they organise annually (courses, conferences, congresses, training…). Apart from offering this all over Spain, it also has international centres is countries such as Portugal, Morocco, Colombia, Peru and Ecuador.
Estel participating in this seminar organised by APD shows how our team of managers, engineers and technicians continuously commit themselves to help preserve the planet in both an individual and a collective manner. All this for the benefit of its inhabitants, as well as the environment.
